On the first weekend of July 2012 Bianca and I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Tiffanie & Joel Atwood. From the classy canes to the impromptu piggy back rides it was clear to see their fun personalities shining through. We know we always say it about every wedding we shoot but we had so much fun that we almost forgot we were working. The skies cleared in spite of the pessimistic weather forecasts and the ceremony at Summer Hill Anglican went off without a hitch.
I love how every wedding we have shot has been unique with new details and themes to capture for our clients. These guys were no exception with a funky robot cake, light sabers, canes and gourmet coffee/ tea bombonieres. It was also the first time that we witnessed a Coffee/Tea Ceremony celebrating the best of both worlds- who says that Asians get to have all the fun?
Seeing all of these cool and different ways of celebrating the marriage commitment has inspired us to think of how we’re going to do our own. Tiff and Joel have definitely set the bar pretty high and we may just have to ‘borrow’ some. Thanks again for letting us share your special day and we hope we’ve somehow captured Tiff & Joel’s awesome fun loving spirits.
